This article explains how to register a new domain step by step in the internex terminal.

Updated over 3 months ago

1 - Log in

Log in to the customer area at terminal.internex.com using your login details.

2 - Select a cloud

Click "Select this Cloud" for your cloud.

3 - Domain Manager Pro

Navigate to "Domain & Email" -> "Domain Manager Pro" in the top menu bar.

4 - Register Domain

Click "Register Domain" in the left-hand menu under Domain Manager Pro.

5 - Search for Domain Names

Enter your desired domain name in the search bar. The system will check your entry and automatically list various TLDs below. It will also check if the domain is still available.

Click the "Shopping Cart" icon on the right side of the desired domain and then click the green "Domain Cart" button.

If your desired domain name is already taken, you can transfer it instead of registering it. This involves transferring an existing domain from another provider to internex.

Please note, however, that a transfer can only be initiated by the actual owner of the domain or with the owner's explicit consent.

You can find more information about transferring an existing domain here: How do I transfer my domain to internex via the internex terminal?

6 - Domain Cart

In the domain shopping cart, you will see an overview of your order. To continue, click "To Checkout" in the upper right corner.

Please note that some TLDs require additional information or confirmation. In this case, after clicking "Proceed to Checkout," you will be asked to confirm the additional information.

7 - Select Domain Owner

Next, you must select the desired domain owner. You have the option to choose an existing Whois template or enter a new domain owner.

Then click "Save selection & continue to checkout".

You can manage the available Whois templates in the terminal within Domain Manager Pro under the "Whois Templates" menu item. There you can edit information, add or delete templates, and mark a template as the default.

8 - Complete your order

To complete your order, you will see an overview of your selected products. Please review the details carefully.

Before you can proceed, you must agree to the terms and conditions.

Then click "Execute Order" to finalize your order.

Upon receiving your order, we will begin registering your domain(s).
