1 - Open Domain Manager Pro
First switch to the “Domain Manager Pro”. You can find this in the top menu under “Domain & E-Mail”:

TIP: If you do not see the Domain Manager Pro there, then you may not have authorization for the module. In this case, please speak to the terminal admin in your organization.
2 - Open domain details
After you have selected “My Domain” (see Fig. 2, P1) in the domain menu on the left, you will see a list of all your domains. Please search for the domain you want to move. You can scroll through the table or use the search above.
Fig. 2: Open domain
Once you have found your domain, you can either click directly on the domain name (see Fig. 2, P2), or click on the far right on “Manage” -> “Show” (see Fig. 2, P3 & P4) to open it.
If you would like to move an external domain to another cloud, please select the item “External domains” instead of “My domains” in the domain menu (see Fig. 2). All other points are the same.
You can also find out more about external domains in the article What is an external domain and how do I create it?
3 - Start cloud mapping
To start moving the domain to another cloud, please click in the domain submenu at the top on the 3 points (see Fig. 3, P1) and then on “Cloud assignment” (see Fig. 3, P2).

4 - Domain connected to an app?
If the domain in question has been added to an app (connected to an app – e.g. WordPress) then the domain cannot be moved out of the cloud.
In this case, you will get this error message:
Fig. 4: Cloud allocation error
You now have 2 options:
4.1 - Delete the domain connection in the app
The obvious “solution” is to stop linking the domain to the app.
To do so, please switch to the app and make another domain – or the service domain – the new primary domain.
You can then remove the domain from the app.
4.2 - Move the whole app
Of course, you can also move the app including the domain to a new cloud. To do this, you have to start the move action on the managed pool product. The domains associated with the app are also taken into account there.
To do this, first open the Managed WordPress Pool.
There you will also find the 3 points with which you can open the cloud assignment above the pool submenu.
5 - Select cloud, confirm permissions and move
If the domain is not connected to an app, the selection of the target cloud opens in the popup (see Fig. 5). There you can select the desired cloud from the list (see Fig. 5, P1):
Fig. 5: Select cloud
If you have selected the target cloud, the resulting authorization changes appear below (see Fig. 6, P1):
Fig. 6: Check authorization changes
You are shown which users can no longer access the domain after this action (see Fig. 6, P1), which users now have access to the domain (see Fig. 6, P2) and – if the current cloud is enabled – which other organizations have access after the action (see Fig. 6, P3).
Once you have checked the authorizations, you can start the action with the “Move” button (see Fig. 6, P4).
