How can I change my account type from "Personal" to "Business"?

There are two different types of customer accounts:

  • Business Account

  • Private Customer Account

This was selected during your initial order or when you created your customer account.

After switching to a Business Account, you can, among other things, add additional employees (under the organization's domain) and set up additional logins.

To change the account type, you must perform an account ownership transfer, as described in the following steps.

1 - Log in

First, log in to the customer area at terminal.internex.com.

2 - Account Overview

Click on the green user icon in the upper right corner and then on "Account Overview".

3 - Overview internex Account

Make sure that the account type "Personal" is selected under "Overview internex Account" in the middle of the window. Then click on "Details" above it.

Now select the "Account Owner" tab. Clicking "Change Data / internex Account-Ownerchange" will initiate the change from "Personal" to "Business".

5 - internex Account Owner Change

In the next window, select "Change to company account" and follow the subsequent steps to complete the change.

After reviewing the information you provided, we will change your account type from "Personal" to "Business". You will receive an email confirming the change.

If any discrepancies arise in the information, we will also notify you via email that the data needs to be corrected.
