In this article you will learn how to request the AUTH code for your .ro domain (Romania). The AUTH code for the transfer must be requested directly from the romanian registry.

First, visit the registry's website: https://rotld.ro/

You can switch the language from "Romanian" to "English" at the top right.

Now click on ".ro Domains" -> "Online Administration" in the top menu.

If you have the credentials for your .ro domain, you can log in here using the domain name and the corresponding password, then proceed to step 4.

If you don't have the credentials, you can reset the password by clicking on "Password reset".

Now enter the domain name and click "Next". You will shortly receive an email from the Romanian registry at the email address registered for the domain holder.

You will receive the password reset link via email ([email protected]) to the email address currently registered with the domain owner. Click on the link "Resetați parola" contained in the email.

You will now be returned to the registration authority's website. Now enter a new password and then click on "Schimbă parola" or "Change password".

To return to the login page, click on ".ro Domains" -> "On-Line Administration" in the top menu.

Now log in with your domain and the password you just assigned.

You are now in the management area for your .ro domain. Click on "Transfers" -> "Transfer to another registrar" to proceed.

Clicking "Send Auth Key" allows you to request your domain's Auth Code. It will be sent to the domain owner's currently registered email address.

You will shortly receive the email containing the AUTH code from the registry ([email protected]).
