Setting up IMAP Mailbox in Outlook (New) for Windows

How to set up your IMAP Mailbox in Outlook (New) for Windows.

1 - Open Outlook

Launch the Outlook (New) application.

2 - Enter email address

Enter the email address of your mailbox and click "Continue".

3 - Select IMAP

Select the account type "IMAP" on the next page.

4 - IMAP Account Settings

Please complete/change the information entered. The following information is required to set up your mailbox via IMAP in Outlook (New):

Password: Your mailbox password

IMAP incoming server: various options, see below

Port: 993

Secure connection type: SSL/TLS

SMTP username: Your email address

SMTP password: Your mailbox password

SMTP outgoing server: various options, see below

Port: 465

Secure connection type: SSL/TLS

Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server

Managed Mail: For a Managed Mail product, we will send you the corresponding server via email during setup.

Webspace Mailbox: If you have a webspace mailbox, you can find the corresponding server under "Email" -> "Mailboxes" -> "How do I access my emails?" in the Webhosting Manager.

Managed Server: For a Managed Server Mailbox, the server's hostname (e.g., xserv99999.secure-node.com) must be used when setting up a mailbox.

Then click "Continue".

5 - Synchronize Account

In Outlook (New), you need to synchronize your IMAP settings with Microsoft. Click "Continue".

Wait until the synchronization with Microsoft is complete.

6 - Completion

Wait until Outlook (New) has set up your mailbox. You can now access your emails.
