Setting up IMAP Mailbox in Apple Mail for iOS

How to set up your IMAP Mailbox in Apple Mail for iOS / on iPhone.

1 - Open Apple Mail

Open the Apple Mail application.

2 - Other

On the Apple Mail home screen, click "Other".

3 - New Account

Next, enter your email address and password. Optionally, you can enter a name and description.

Then click "Next".

4 - Server Settings

Please complete/change the information entered. The following information is required to set up your IMAP mailbox in Apple Mail for iOS:

IMAP incoming mail server or incoming mail server: various options, see below

IMAP username: your email address

IMAP password: your mailbox password

SMTP outgoing mail server or outgoing mail server: various options, see below

SMTP username: your email address

SMTP password: your mailbox password

Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server

Managed Mail: With a Managed Mail product, we will send you the corresponding server via email during setup.

Webspace Mailbox: If you have a webspace mailbox, you can find the corresponding server under "Email" -> "Mailboxes" -> "How do I access my emails?" in the Web Hosting Manager.

Managed Server: With a Managed Server Mailbox, the server's hostname (e.g., xserv99999.secure-node.com) must be used when setting up a mailbox.

Then click "Next".

5 - Additional Settings

Activate the slider for "Mail" and then click "Save".

6 - Completion

Wait until Apple Mail has set up your mailbox. You can now access your emails.
