How do I perform a domain owner verification?

Updated this week

After registering a gTLD (generic top-level domain, e.g.: .com, .net, .org), the domain owner (OwnerC) receives a verification request to their email address.

The email contains a link to a website where the email address must be actively confirmed.

Each domain contact used for a gTLD domain owner (OwnerC) only needs to be verified once. It can then be used without restrictions for all gTLDs.

1 - Verification email

After registering your gTLD, you will receive an email from [email protected] to the email address of the domain owner.

Click "Confirm your email address now."

2 - Verification website

A new browser window will open. The website address should be as follows:

https://ocval.domain-robot.org/ocval/<ID>

Please check the information provided.

If the information is incorrect, please change the ownership via our customer area: How can I change the owner contact of my domain?

You will then receive a new verification email.

If the data is correct, click on "Confirm contact data".
